Marriage

Since starting this blog, which I never ever post on, I have gotten married. I am no longer a free wheeling single girl. Which I am ok with, most of the time. Here is the list of things I have learned so far about marriage...
1. Marriage is awesome
2. Marriage is hard
3. Marriage is worth the hard work
So far that is it. I will keep you updated as I traverse this new land I call Marriage.

My Return

I started this blog and then promptly forgot about it. That is the story of my life, started things and then forgetting them in the same instant I start it. Well no more. I am going through many changes in my life and really want to write about them as they happen.
I am inspired by people who overcome huge obstacles, or obstackles, as I like to call them. When I see someone change their life ,coming closer to Christ in the journey, it warms my heart. It makes me want to be a little better, stand a little taller. Recently a dear brother is going through such a time. He is an inspiration to me as he faces his adversity and is so positive through it.
I want to remember to be positive no matter my situation. Happiness is the key to joy. I feel joy as I look at this wondrous planet and remember God's love for me. I love this life of mine and want to share my joy with the world.

Christmas Shopping

Why is it that I am one of those people who waits till the last minute to get my shopping done? The person who frantically looks for a decent gift. Not just for a few people, but every person in my life! It would be so much easier to just get it done in the beginning of December! Yet, I am not that crafty, think ahead person. Instead of losing weight this year, I am going to stop procrastinating. Well here I am blogging when I should be stuck in traffic in the 30 degree weather, shopping for the people I care about. Time to put on my boxing gloves and get down and dirty in the cesspool of last minute shoppers like me.

Whats new

I am new to this blogging world, so bear with me. Since I moved South, things have been going well. I nanny for a great family and I love it. The boys I nanny are 12 and 9. They are a handful, but really good kids. I am currently living in Atlanta. I love big city, yet it still feels like the South I love.
I am excited for Christmas. I love this time of year. Everyone is a little kinder and just a little warmer. I look forward to blogging about my life!
